[Csnd] Linear Arithmetic Synthesis - Attack Samples Anywhere?

Subject[Csnd] Linear Arithmetic Synthesis - Attack Samples Anywhere?
Hi All,

I've recently been reading up and listening to samples/watching
youtube clips of the Roland D-50 and was wondering if anyone knew of
freely usable attack samples that could be used to for implementing LA
Synthesis (sample attack + synthetic hold). I imagine it would be
easy to create a Csound to implement the basic algorithm, but imagine
getting good attack samples or creating them would take some work
(though could be a fun collaborative project :) ).

Any info appreciated!
steven

Hi Steven,

I think "prepiano" opcode will be a good way to make attack samples...

Hi Alesandro,

I was hoping to find samples already prepared for LA synthesis; I
could always start looking for interesting samples to use for attack
samples and do some cutting/trimming, but was hoping to find something
already prepared.

Thanks!
