[Csnd] envelope question

Subject[Csnd] envelope question
Is it possible to have a linear attack and exponential decay in the same envelope?

I was thinking of doing this in a hackish way by multiplying two linear envelopes, but for some reason, it wasn't working as I anticpated it would--I got silence!

I haven't used it much, but it looks like 'envlpx' might be able to do something like this.

Thanks,
AKJ

Hi Aaron,

I think you can use transeg for this:

Use transeg. An exponent of 0 is linear, other exponents are
exponential, either convex or concave depending on sign.

Wow, great...thanks for pointing me to this. I remember coming across this
once, and I can't believe I missed this. Shows us how big Csound is, and how
guru-like you both are!

Thanks Michael, Steven!

Now, if someone could just figure out why FLtext isn't updating on FLgetsnap
calls......

Best,
AKJ
