Last April jpff mentioned that one of his students was working on
making a multi-thread version of csound that would take advantage of
additional CPUs in a multi-core system.  We haven't had any progress
reports since then, so I thought I'd ask how things were going and
repeat my offer of a dual quad-core Xeon system running Ubuntu 9.04 to
help test.

John is away until mid-September, but I'm sure he will be glad
to have some help testing. There is a CVS branch with the code,
but at this point I forgot what it is... we'll have to wait until he
is back.
