Did you install http://sourceforge.net/projects/qutecsound/files/QuteCsound/0.4.1/QuteCsound-0.4.1-OSX-Intel-incQt.tar.gz?
What happens exactly when you launch qutecsound?
I'm on osx (10.5) too and can perhaps help you, if you wish.

actually you don't need to install Qt first. You can use the "incQt" version of the installer. This is the version
QuteCsound-0.4.1-OSX-Intel-incQt.tar.gz

Unfortunately the sourceforge page is a bit misleading at the moment, because the latest release is just a source release. You first have to click on "view all files". Then click on the triangle near "QuteCsound", then go to 0.4.1.

yes, but your version of QuteCsound is using csound floats (not doubles, csound 64).

delete manually /Library/Frameworks/CsoundLib.framework and install

this package:

http://downloads.sourceforge.net/csound/Csound5.10-float-Intel-OSX10.4.tar.gz

This will give you the correct framework for QuteCsound (no need to reinstall

it).

Now, this is very different from the previous errors and it seems the issue is with

 QuteCsound, not Csound. Can you run Csound at all from the terminal?

Now, this is very different from the previous errors and it seems the issue is with

 QuteCsound, not Csound. Can you run Csound at all from the terminal?

You can use the "incQt" version of the installer. This is the version QuteCsound-0.4.1-OSX-Intel-incQt.tar.gz Unfortunately the sourceforge page is a bit misleading at the moment, because the latest release is just a source release. You first have to click on "view all files". Then click on the triangle near "QuteCsound", then go to 0.4.1. Hi,

It is important if you have installed Qt to use the noQt version. If you haven't installed Qt get the incQt. Otherwise you will have problems.
