Will csound play better on any game or other external synth boxes,

I doubt it. Csound is designed and maintained for general-purpose
computers. It is not optimized to take advantage of GPUs or other
special-purpose chips in game machines.

Maybe if you're running Linux on PS3 it might be possible to build
from source or even download a binary if its debian, but it wouldn't
run on something like the PS3 os or Xbox.
