Looking at the entry for 'pluck':

2.  stretched averaging. As above, with smoothing time stretched by a 
factor of iparm1 (=1).

Judging by pluck's behavior, this was meant to say (>=1).  The
greater than was probably not escaped in the HTML.  Firefox cleans
up the source when viewing, so it's hard to say.

This is likely also a problem with bullet item 4.  I wouldn't be
surprised if the rest of the manual contains other cases where
the greater than symbol is treated like an extra tag close.

Hi Tobiah,

 I tried out option 2 and 4 with different stretching factors of >=1 and i
think you are right.
I looked in pluck.xml and the sign ">" was simply not there, i think it is
forgotten.
If someone else approves i can make the modification.
