Subject[Csnd] stop an event without stopping Csound
Hello everyone,

is it possible in a real-time context to simply stop a note? I'll give you a
musical example - creating a synthesis crescendo that hasn't a given
duration limit - but could be stopped (or "enveloped) by a note given by an
instrument.

i'm trying to conceptualize this, but I'm missing somenthing...
normally i use qutecsound using (predefined) buttons for events or simply an
infinite infinitervb chamber with a thru audio connection.

thanks in advance.

You can use the turnoff2 opcode, the first parameter is the instrument
number.

Or use negative p1 to turn an always on instrument off.

I'm sorry - ignore that last message - turnoff2 has a release parameter
