Which version of CSound and QuteCSound do I need for my Apple G5 with 10.5.7 I have just installed CSound 5.12.4-OSX10.5-Universal, and QuteCSound-0.6.0-OSX-Universal-incQt And I get the following error message when launching QuteCSound: Process: qutecsound-f [9066] Path: /Applications/QuteCsound-0.6.0.app/Contents/MacOS/qutecsound-f Identifier: qutecsound-f Version: ??? (???) yes, 5.12.4-OSX10.5-Universal should be the right one. The error seems to be with libsndfile, maybe for some reason the installer could not install the correct libsndfile. It appears to find it, but not for PPC architecture. Can you try deleting that file /usr/local/lib/libsndfile.1.dylib and then running the csound5 installer again?
