I'm kind of confused about the resony docs. The separation mode can be linear or logarithmic. The amount of separation is "isep" which is described as a number of octaves. That makes sense for the logarithmic case, but how is that defined for the linear case? I'm trying it out and it's not doing any thing I expect, or at least I can't figure it out from the sound. Thanks, Dennis |

There is an example here that includes a more elaborate description of the two separation modes which might help: http://www.iainmccurdy.org/CsoundRealtimeExamples/Filters/resony.csd I agree that the manual documentation could benefit form some clarification in it's description of isepmode. Hope this helps, Iain Date: Sun, 15 Jan 2012 10:36:58 -0800 From: dennis.raddle@gmail.com To: csound@lists.bath.ac.uk Subject: [Csnd] resony documentation I'm kind of confused about the resony docs. Thanks Ian. Actually, I already downloaded that when I was experimenting! I know your website is a great "go-to" resource. But I didn't realize there was a further explanation in there. Thanks.
