In 0.6.0 running in Windows 7, the Ext. Editor button works, but the Ext. Player button doesn't. In MacOS (0.6.1) neither of them works. Is this a known issue, or is there something peculiar about my system? Also, the MacOS version has two menu headers (Favorites and Scripts) that currently have no menus attached to them. What's the status of these headers? Are there implementation plans? Thanks for any feedback on these points! --Jim Aikin -- View this message in context: http://csound.1045644.n5.nabble.com/More-QuteCsound-Interface-Questions-tp4664987p4664987.html Sent from the Csound - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. I think these menus are populated by the user, but I have not used them yet. Victor On 4 Aug 2011, at 04:09, Jim Aikin wrote: > In 0.6.0 running in Windows 7, the Ext. Hi Jim, I can't remember if the record button was fixed in time for the 0.6.0 release. https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3019851&group_id=227265&atid=1070588 but the QuteCsound version included in the most recent Csound installers should include the fix. The examples and scripts menus are populated showing the contents of the directories set on the environment preferences, so you have quick access to your most used files. Examples is designed for Csound files and Scripts is designed for Python files. I'm desperately needing windows testers which can build from source so they can check if what I do actually fixes their problems, would you (or anyone else) be willing to volunteer for this? (It's not too hard, and actually much simpler than building Csound itself) Cheers, Andres On Thu, Aug 4, 2011 at 4:09 AM, Jim Aikin |

At present, the Favorites menu works, but the Scripts menu doesn't. In MacOS the Scripts menu header appears, but even when I use the Configuration box to direct QuteCsound to a directory that contains .py files, the Scripts menu remains empty. In Windows, this field exists in the Configurations box, but putting a directory in it does not cause any Scripts menu or submenu to appear. --JA -- View this message in context: http://csound.1045644.n5.nabble.com/More-QuteCsound-Interface-Questions-tp4664987p4667927.html Sent from the Csound - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. Hi Jim The scripts menu is working for me, but just needs restarting QuteCsound. Cheers, Andres On Thu, Aug 4, 2011 at 10:02 PM, Jim Aikin |
