[Csnd] QuteCsound Graph Widget

Subject[Csnd] QuteCsound Graph Widget
Looking at the Graph widget example in the Examples menu, I'm unable (in
Windows 7) to get it to do anything. It never displays anything, and the
drop-down menu in the upper left corner of the widget never displays
anything. Nor do I see anything in the Properties box that would let me
address either of these issues.

Is the widget non-functional, or am I missing something obvious?

I tried this on my wife's Windows 7 PC, and I can confirm that, Jim.
It does not do anything.
On my OS X 10.5 it works ok.

My MacBook Pro has OS 10.6.7. Here, I get the same results as on the PC ...
namely, no display.

it definitely works on OSX 10.5. You sure you don't have a -d
somewhere as an option (or --no-displays)? That would prevent the
graph from appearing.

Thanks, Victor. That is indeed the solution in OS 10.6. I now see the
displays.

However, I don't have --displays (nor any other extra command-line flags) in
the Configuration box in the Windows version. If anyone has the Graph widget
working in Windows 7 with QTCS 0.6 and Csound 5.13, I'd appreciate your
letting us know.

Hi Jim,

Displays are suppressed by default on Windows. You can enable them by
removing the -d flag in the .csoundrc file. It is located in the
Csound installation directory (usually C:/Program
Files/Csound/.csoundrc).

Cheers,
