[Csnd] Cabbage Csound Editor splitter stuck at top of window

Subject[Csnd] Cabbage Csound Editor splitter stuck at top of window
Howdy,

OS is Win7. Like the subject says, the splitter window in the Cabbage
Csound editor got stuck at the top. Closing and re-opening Cabbage
did not un-stick it. Is there a settings file that can be deleted so
it is not stuck anymore? As things stand, Cabbage is now unusable and
any hopes of exploring its capabilities are dashed =( Help us
Rory-wan-Kenobe -- you're our only hope! =)

Cheers,
~ andy.f

The latest version has a patch that fixes that, but you'd need to compile
it, etc...

I'm trying to recreate this problem here but I can't. How exactly did
you break it?! Does reinstalling Cabbage fix it? I'm not sure
compiling the latest source is a good idea, it's in a state of
craziness right now but almost there. Actually Andy, you use windows a
lot right, have you had an issues with msbuild lately? For some reason
my msbuild.exe is now missing from my system? Looks like I'll have to
reinstall Visual Studio. I think it was a windows update that did the
damage. have you had this problem at all?

I found it. it was buried deep in the depths of my hard drive. My path
must have got funked up. All good now I think. Anyhow, that doesn't
really help your situation. If reinstalled doesn't work I can send you
an updated binary later today, in about 8 hours, but be forewarned,
you'd inadvertently become a beta tester for the next release!

SubjectRe: [Csnd] Cabbage Csound Editor splitter stuck at top of window
Hi Rory,

I pressed the "options" button and selected "new effect". A new
window appeared and when I was dragging the splitter bar up and down
it got stuck at the top of the window.

I found the settings file at "C:\Users\Andy\Application Data\Cabbage
Standalone host". Deleting it reset the splitter to the bottom and
now I know not to do that again, so problem solved =)

Here's a screencast -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HvOVV8dtAY

MSVC 6 was the last version I used extensively, so I don't know much
about Visual Studio, anymore. I switched to QtCreator and MinGW a few
years back for a more consistent cross platform development
environment. A wise choice, imho =)

Oh, that's not at all the bug I thought it was. A good screencast is

I thought it was merely the Cabbage main window staying on top of the
others, the option in the main menu would not be saved between
sessions.
