Thanks, Victor. Yes, I'd forgotten about
scoreline.
As I mentioned to Steven, it is so difficult to
find an opcode you need searching the Csound manual. It would be wonderful (and
an enormous project) for the manual to grow a useful index. It just is not
possible often to find what you want - especially not being able to use the
precise terminology of the manual.
I really appreciate all the time and expertise you
contribute to dealing with practical issues like this.

use, you can format the whole scoreline as a string, with
