On my eeepc 900 with 20Gb SSD,  8.9 Inch, Celeron 900MHz, 1gig ram:

  csound trapped.csd  20.12s user 0.82s system 98% cpu 21.159 total

On my old laptop (celeron 1.40GHz, 2gig ram):

  csound trapped.csd  19.22s user 0.96s system 82% cpu 24.440 total

Both run the arch linux distribution.
