| I installed the double version of 5.09.1 here at work. I get these errors in csound5gui, and PortAudio does not work:
WARNING: could not open library 'c:\utah\opt\Csound\plugins64\csnd.dll' (-1)
WARNING: could not open library 'c:\utah\opt\Csound\plugins64\fluidOpcodes.dll' (-1)
WARNING: could not open library 'c:\utah\opt\Csound\plugins64\rtpa.dll' (-1)
WARNING: could not open library 'c:\utah\opt\Csound\plugins64\stdutil.dll' (-1)
Also, in the Windows event log, errors like this appear:
Syntax error in manifest or policy file "C:\utah\opt\Csound\bin\Microsoft.VC90.CRT\Microsoft.VC90.CRT.MANIFEST" on line 4.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
and:
Component identity found in manifest does not match the identity of the component requested
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
It's clear that the problem is the manifest for the runtime library stuff in the bin directory doesn't match the third party libraries. And that means this can be fixed.
I'm out of town on a family emergency till next week, so I doubt I'll be much help until then.
Regards,
Mike
