Yes; I neglected to mention that I get the Python popup too. This was an 
irritant in a fairly recent Windows installer that Mike had fixed. I trust 
that Mike will fix it again.

in my system I have to remove plugins\csnd.dll altogether else I get an
annoying "python is missing" popup everytime I start csound (which makes
it impossible to run csound as a non-interactive subprocess).

I have no idea what csnd.dll do though...
