[Csnd] Csound OS X uninstall?

Subject[Csnd] Csound OS X uninstall?
Is there a clean way to uninstall Csound from OS X? I want to install
Homebrew but that recommends a clean /usr/local/lib folder before
proceeding.

Thanks
Gareth

I was hoping for something a bit less dangerous.

This is the best reason why devs always should either work at the very
least in a virtual machine (Slow as snot but adequate... If you can
get it to run decent under virtualisation, it should scream in a
native OS during actual final build testing.) or a separate OS
install. An even better solution is a complete separate computer
separate from your general use machine. You can always trash the OS
and start fresh when you need and also you can monitor what gets
created and where during compilation or when it is running.

That being said, I looked around on my mac that has Csound 5 with blue
on it and didn't see anything that stood out in the library. I always
thought Csound kind of kept to itself system wise, maybe there is
something hidden somewhere?

But if you want to clear the /usr/local/lib that is what you need to do.

I'm quite aware of that, but it's not what I asked.

I have more than one application that has installed itself into
/usr/local/. If every one had an uninstall script, I could run them
one at a time so I could figure out what those applications are, so
I'm not surprised when they stop working because I've done a blind 'rm
-rf' on the directory.

yes, but 'a clear' /usr/local/lib is not only dependent on
uninstalling Csound?
If all your other apps have uninstall scripts, then whatever else is
left is only
Csound's libs.

However, If you run the installer, you will see on 'important
information' a list of files have
been copied into /usr/local/lib/

Even better, start the installer and then choose from the file menu
'show files'.
Expand the 'support libs' tab and you will see a list of stuff that
goes into
/usr/local/lib. That is the full list.
