"Spectral Modeling"---- the same or similar to "Physical Modeling"
(sometimes referred to simply as Modeling)?

I'm sorry again Victor, I've found what is ATS.

ATS is the closest to SMS, but there are also streaming partial track
opcodes etc.

I've been reading some articles of Mr Xavier Serra about the use of
SMS high-level attribute plane and to extract high level sound
attributes from the basic representation, modify them, and add them
back before the synthesis stage

Is there anything like this on Csound?

thanks in advance.

Hi Partev

i found some informatiob in Wikipedia:

i believe that the OP is referring to a specific piece of software by
Serra called SMS. i used to run this program on SGI and loved it. i
believe that it is currently released as part of CLAM, though i was
never able to get the same results that i used to.

i would love to see it in csound someday! i remember the transient
modeling to be particularly convincing -- i have not heard anything as
good since!
