Subject[Csnd] MIDI assign on QuteCsound
Hi,

All these nice screencasts posted recently have prompted me to do my
own on a little new feature on QuteCsound 0.6.1, MIDI assign.

Cheers,
Andres

Andres.

Cool.

Love it.

Such a great new feature and a super clear and inspiring screencast.

You can imagine what all the Csound professors (like me) will be showing in class next week!

Great timing too - as I introduce MIDI instrument design in Csound to my spring semester class next week.

Thanks for this great feature, demo and for all your fantastic work on developing and improving QuteCsound.

Dr. B.

Please make sure you post a link to this and all the QuteCsound ScreenCasts in the "News" section at cSounds.com.

Just saw the video and this very nice!  I'm inspired to add similar functionality now to blue. :)

Thanks for posting this!

Hi Steven,

Great! I recommend you take a look at RtMidi. So much simpler to use
and build than portmidi....

Cheers,
Andres

Ah no worries, I'll be using Java's MIDI library (already using it for MIDI input and mapping in blue, just need to extend capabilities).

Thanks!
