Dear List, Victor Lazzarini, spoke about temposcal and mincer vocoding opcodes, but they don't seem to work on Qutecsound 0.6.0 (on Csound 5.12) will they only be available in 5.13? thanks in advance |

Officially, only in 5.13. Unofficially there are experimental versions of mincer and temposcal (called tpscal) in 5.12 OSX (universal binary). Victor On 8 Feb 2011, at 12:26, JLFerreira wrote:

hummm, and how can I use them? I'm just a plain user... when it's not highlighted on qutecsound it becomes a problem... (LOL) On 8 February 2011 12:30, Victor Lazzarini <Victor.Lazzarini@nuim.ie> wrote:

I just noticed that the 5.13 manual still says 5.12.... but it has all the documentation. As for highlighting, I don't know what qutecsound needs for opcode highlighting but temposcal etc are in the new manual. Victor On 8 Feb 2011, at 12:51, Victor Lazzarini wrote:

ok... it was really a dumb question... Couldn't find version 5.13 on sourceforge.net so I've supposed it would be an upcoming version, and not the current one.

HI Victor, It probably means you built the manual just before I changed the version number, but it's correct on the release packages. Maybe for next release I should put together the manual a few days before the installers are built. Cheers, Andres On Tue, Feb 8, 2011 at 12:54 PM, Victor Lazzarini |

That's no problem. By the way, how is the syntax highlighting enabled for new opcodes? Hi, I've now updated my copy of the opcodes.xml file (which is currently embedded inside the qutecsound binary). I didn't do this for the release as the script which produced this was broken, and I couldn't figure out at the time why.... and now after some time lost on this, I've found all (or many) of the xml entry files have an extraneous \xef\xbb\xbf at the start, and use windows line endings. So, please a big request to manual committers, please make sure your editors are set to use unix line endings and make sure you are not adding these strange characters at the start. Changing the line endings also obscures the history in version control. Cheers, Andres On Wed, Feb 9, 2011 at 10:23 AM, Victor Lazzarini |
