Hi Tarmo,

after having made several attempts in the Settings (RT) of CsoundQt (beta version) and after having also given access to the microphone in the preferences of the Mac, I still have difficulty sending the outgoing microphone signal, for example with:
asig inch 1
or simply with:
asig in

I do not understand,
... some help?

SubjectRe: [Csnd] Problems with Csound
i just have a mac with mojavi available and can confirm there is a problem.

in csoundqt, no input at all. when i run this in terminal, a dialog
pops up: "... wants to access the internal microphone. allow?" (when i
click OK it works.)

so it seems that apple has changed some access to the internal audio card?

output only (for instance "Hello World" in csoundqt) works in general,
but for portaudio blocking with a delay before the first tone, and with
portaudio callback with a delay after tha last tone.

what do other mac mojavi users experience here? and is victor using
mojavi and can help?

yes, and I had to "allow the microphone". It looks like a new security setting. Only needed to do it once.

It seems to take longer to start up, I
noticed. But I have not been using it
too much as I mostly use the command
line.
