Hi All,

I'm going to be giving a workshop on my hexadecimal beats system this
coming Saturday (Feb 2nd) in Brooklyn, NY:

https://www.eventbrite.com/e/live-code-lab-registration-52981770903

It's part of the Live Code Lab event, organized by livecode.nyc and
Music Community Lab. I'll be using live.csound.com for the workshop
and I will cover using hexadecimal strings for notating rhythms for
percussion and melodic writing. There are also a number of interesting
workshops and talks discussing various aspects of live coding as well
as performances. The event is free (just requires reserving a ticket
and signing up for workshops).

Cheers!
Steven

Steven,

Wish I could be there.

I have been working with you system nonstop for the past month. It's fantastic!

I hope you will be streaming the session or filming it? There is so much more to explore and learn.

I am happy to say that a number of my top students and alumni will be there.

Have a great session.

Hi Dr. B,

Thanks and glad to hear you're enjoying the system! I'm sorry I won't
see you this time here but I'm glad to hear I'll see some of your
students and alumni. Always a pleasure!

I don't know if any of the events will be streamed or recorded. If
not, I'll look at putting together a screencast series that goes
through the same hex beat pattern progression and melodic writing I'll
present today.

All best!
Steven
