I've been using Csound since 2001 and I've seen so many.
Taking part in the first edition of ICSC with an electronic piece that throws up Csound's intervention.
Csound in my opinion is one of the greatest instruments ever written for music.
I recognize the usefulness of doing anything with music.
I too would have some reflections to propose:

1. CsoundQT:
=========
I honestly prefer the old QuteCsound frontend to the new CsoundQT.
Even when I work with old operating systems, I also get rid of the old Ingalls MacCsound.
In the past I used a lot of frontends such as WinXound by Stefano Bonetti, sometimes Cecilia and recently also Cabbage.
I noticed difficulties in installing CsoundQT on Win. Installation is contorted and unavailable to everyone.
I say this because in Italy, for example, the world of compulsory education has adopted Win in the school,
but I'm sure many teachers find it difficult to install programs like Csound to do something in class.

5. Teaching Csound:

I would like to create tutorials (also video-tutorials) dedicated to boys aged 10 to 13;
I think that Csound can help to develop logical / mathematical sense in them, imagination as a few other software, as well as - of course - allow you to understand a lot about sound parameters, for example.
I believe contributions to children and teenagers such as Richard Boulanger's presentation in St. Petersburg in 2015 are nowadays much needed and useful.
Apart from a few other experiments mentioned here on the forum, it was still very little for young or very young Csounders.

I do not understand who needs to turn to you as a maintainer of the Csound site.
These are some remarks that came to my mind, on the fly, but I think I'm still writing here ...

Uso Csound dall'anno 2001 e ne ho viste davvero tante.
Partecipo dalla prima edizione del ICSC con un pezzo elettronico che metta in gioco l'intervento di Csound.
Csound secondo me è uno dei più grandi strumenti che sia mai stato scritto per la musica.
Ne riconosco l'utilità per fare qualsiasi cosa con la musica.
Anche io avrei alcune riflessioni da proporre:

1. CsoundQT:
=========
onestamente preferisco il vecchio frontend QuteCsound al nuovo CsoundQT.
Addirittura quando lavoro con i vecchi sistemi operativi, ritiro fuori anche il vecchissimo MacCsound di Ingalls.
Nel passato ho impiegato molto anche frontends come WinXound di Stefano Bonetti, qualche volta Cecilia e recentemente qualche volta anche Cabbage.
Ho notato difficoltà nella installazione di CsoundQT su Win. L'installazione è contorta e poco accessibile a tutti.
Dico questo perché ad esempio in Italia il mondo dell'istruzione dell'obbligo ha adottato nella scuola il sistema Win,
ma sono sicuro che molti docenti si trovino in difficoltà ad installare programmi come Csound per fare qualcosa in classe.

mi piacerebbe creare dei tutorials (anche video-tutorials) dedicati ai ragazzi dai 10 ai 13 anni di età;
penso che Csound possa contribuire a sviluppare in loro il senso logico/matematico, l'immaginazione come pochi altri software, oltre che - naturalmente - permettere di comprendere molto ad esempio sui parametri del suono.
Credo che contributi dedicati ai bambini ed ai ragazzi come quello presentato da Richard Boulanger a San Pietroburgo nel 2015 siano oggi quanto mai necessari e utili.
A parte pochi altri esperimenti dei quali si accenna qui sul forum, è stato fatto ancora pochissimo per i giovani o giovanissimi Csounders.
