This is my set for the 2026 Non-Event Festival of Experimental Sound, performed at the Waterworks Museum in Boston, possibly the coolest venue I've played in. This is marked OT because there's no Csound or any other synth, hardware or software, involved. It's a feedback setup consisting of a series of pedals (resonator, ring modulator, frequency shifter, et al.), including an autoharp (fitted with a transducer and a magnetic pickup). No looping or delays, all realtime sound. The piece is an excerpt from a much longer piece called Six Bardos for Éliane Radigue. This represents one of the six sections, or bardos. A complete version lasts 1.5 hours (15 minutes per section). I will probably make the audio track available on its own eventually. Thanks, Dave --- |

Thank you for sharing this piece. It is interesting what you achieve
purely through your feedback network. I have heard people experiment and
work with these techniques before. Since it is not really my scene, I
have never investigated further. Your piece is by far the most complex
and rich I have heard. Great work!
