Introducing the third (and last?) member of my carillon triptych, A Gathering of Bells for Csound. This one is for 6 or 8 carillon samples, not a "real carillon"  - because I do several modifications of the sound and some timing adjustments that are not physically realistic.

As usual, complete info is available at the top of my site, arthunkins.com - including two demo improvisations. One of these (6 bells) uses a MIDI controller, the other (8 bells) only an ASCII keyboard (via sensekey) .

I describe this work as essentially a Csound instrument ready to be improvised with. One unique feature of this distribution is that I've included the "roadmaps" for both demo performances - for documentation purposes and for those just curious to know "how it was done."

Multiple .csd's, for all computers and Android devices. On many versions, a single-line console output keeps track of the changing values.

Jeanette - again you may be particularly interested in the slightly offset attack times of the various bells in chorus. It's a prime feature of this Gathering of Bells.
