[Csnd] pitch tracking saxophone?

Subject[Csnd] pitch tracking saxophone?
Hi Csounders, I'm working on a piece/system for my PhD work that will involve real-time pitch tracking of a soprano sax signal. I'm not sure how to do that yet, ultimately I will probably make something that is highly tuned to the source and wind up doing so in C/C++, but to begin with, I'd like to see how far I can get with closer to readymade options.

I'm curious if anyone has done this with Csound, and if so how and how it worked out, subjectively. And even better, if you have compared that with the options in Max or Pd (~fiddle, sigmund, f0 etc).

thanks!

"involve real-time pitch tracking"... If I understand  you could use ptrack.
some hours ago I shared a csd file with real time detecting of pitch: resonOnFly.
All the best

Looking in the manual, it says that this was based on an algorithm by Miller, but the manual doesn't say which. Does anyone know if this would be the same algorithm as the one he used in sigmund~ or fiddle~ (and if so, which?) Victor?

thanks
