Hey hey,
sorry for muddying the waters, but I'm a bit stuck and I know that at least a 
few people here also have some experience with Faust.

My main issue is that the manual, as well as other Faust docs, have images of 
code or symbols in vital places, so I can't read it. Yes, there are the 
example files that come with Faust. I tried to register with the Faust 
mailinglist, without apparent success and asked on a more fitting general 
purpose list.

So, if anyone here would want to lend me a hand with a few basic questions, 
I'd very much appreciate it. It's mostly language basics. Links to pure-text 
docs would help just as well, if you know any.
