thanks for mentioning here.  the idea behind this code was
1) to write code (by hand, really typing!) on the tab "0-write-me.csd" but
2) to have a backup for the code to write in the other tabs.

in other words: you can only play from the "0-write-me.csd" tab.

to check quickly, you can copy the code from "1-pling.csd". paste it 
into "0-write-me.csd", and run it from there.

does this work for you, too?

yes it is a bit misleading.  it was done for the workshop, and as far as 
i remember, it was also a restriction in ide.csound.com.
