Subject[Csnd] Csound and feedback
Hello everyone.

On the subject:
"New technological advances in electroacoustic feedback for music and composition",
I am trying to design an article that involves Csound in an important way.

Among the topics to which I would like to devote myself on the use and organization of feedback (in a more or less broad sense), I think of now historical works such as the SOLO [Nr. 19] for melody instrument with feedback by K.Stockhausen (piece on which I have dedicated an app), but also, more generally, to some concrete applications such as reverberation, or effects such as flanging, phaser, chorus, or even filters...

However, I think I miss many other situations - and some perhaps even trivial ones that I don't think about - in which Csound code can behave in this sense as a back-checker of things (feedback), processes, path, code operations... and more.

It is on this last part that I ask all of you for some idea, experience, consideration... or a thought... that can combine Csound with the theme.

Thank you,
E

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply.
I did several feedback instruments, combining a physical feedback path with Csound processing.
Some more info here:
And I attach a csd that I use for general feedback control, consisting of two different adaptive filters and an "autolevel" (gain compensation) module.
Hope it might be relevant for your purposes.
All best
Øyvind
