Nubi is a drone, actually a chord with one note shuffling after a certain amount of time. Probably I used also FM synthesis or Ring modulation in some parts. > The piano in Ritmo Evanescente is good for the low notes. Is that based > on a sample or Karplus-Strong/waveguide synthesis? Nubi, Ritmo evanescente and Chaos game are all made with sound samples. In Ritmo evanescente the samples are read at different speed (using the 12 notes of tempered system), that's why the piano looks like a guitar at certain higher frequencies. There are in total six instruments (tambourine, mallet, vibraphone, viola, piano, altoflute). The viola in some parts was modified by FM synthesis. Have a good time with Csound! Luca -- Luca Pavan |

Nice, Luca. Listening now. I started with the "Forbidden Planet" track, b/c I adore that movie. Great homage! Moving on to "Nubi" now...creates an eerie mood. You mentioned it was a drone with "shuffling" happening. It almost sounds like a granular technique here....is it?
