Subject[Csnd] Requesting advice for bass and drums tracks
Hello everybody,

I want to use Csound for two purposes: recording backing tracks for me
to play on top and creating music of the chill out, ambient, lounge,
whatever you call it, style. The backing tracks would consist of
percussion and an electric bass. For the chill out stuff I will try
all the Csound capabilities for creating original sounds, but I still
want the same percussion and bass base. So I'm wondering what would be
a good way to include this foundation in the Csound files.

Quality will not be so important at first while training with the
backing tracks, or exploring exotic sounds with the ambient music, But
eventually I would want to play in front of people or release a
composition, so I would want the best sound quality and no copyright
issues.
I have no problem with programming (that's my job), plain text editing
or scores (I can read and write them) but still appreciate a good easy
user interface.

What setup would you recommend for me?
