[Csnd] 1 in, 2 out

Subject[Csnd] 1 in, 2 out

Hi

It seems for some strange/stupid reason my new MacBook Pro has only 1 input channel and 2 out. I didn’t know this was even a possibility when I got it.

That means that I get

*** PortAudio: error: -9998: Invalid number of channels

whenever I use -odac and -iadc together, no matter if I use nchnls = 1 or 2.

Does anyone know if there is a way around this?

Best,

Ah, I didn’t know about that one.

Still, with

nchnls_i                =                                              1

nchnls                   =                                              2

I get the same error.

Andreas

can you use another real time audio module instead of portaudio, perhaps
jack?
