Does anyone have any links to csound piano projects either using samples or
physical modeling that are avaliable to experiement with ?

You can use SoundFonts with the Fluidsynth opcodes, or you can use the commercial Pianoteq, either standalone with Jack, or via the vst4cs opcodes, maintained by me but currently only for Linux. In my experience this gives the best results overall, excellent sound and expression. If you were asking about a lower level approach, about 15 years ago I experimented with recording our Steinway A with an AKG C414, a very good mic, and making ftables for Csound oscillators. This was simple, just adapting the Csound manual examples, and results were exquisite, but limited in terms of dynamics, pedalling, etc. where the Pianoteq really shines.
