Hello everyone, My name is Pedro Sodre. I’m very new to csound and I’m trying to get into generative music using the program. Any recommendations on reference material? Thank you very much! Sincerely, Pedro Sodré

Hi Pedro, I'm not sure about papers, but I can provide a couple of examples from my own work (including Csound code). These are both real-time generative pieces. Threefold Soliloquoy is something I wrote for a Beckett play, usually run either on an Android tablet or a Raspberry Pi: https://github.com/DaveSeidel/music-src/tree/master/threefold-soliloquy recording here: https://soundcloud.com/mysterybear/threefold-soliloquy An Ocean of Air was made for an installation, usually run on a Raspberry Pi: https://github.com/DaveSeidel/music-src/tree/master/an-ocean-of-air recording here: https://mysterybear.bandcamp.com/album/an-ocean-of-air - Dave On Sun, Dec 29, 2019 at 3:39 AM Pedro Lopes Rangel Caiado Sodre <psodre@berklee.edu> wrote:

Hi, And definitely learn to know the work of Michael Gogins I am sure there are loads of different examples that members of the list can propose. Many of the Caggabe examples (have a look at FunAndGames, many of them by Iain McCurdy) use some kind of generative routins. Hope it gives some ideas... tarmo Kontakt Dave Seidel (<dave.seidel@gmail.com>) kirjutas kuupäeval P, 29. detsember 2019 kell 17:13:
