Hello, I am glad to announce release of CsoundQt 0.9.7 - probably will be included in the release of Csound 6.14 On the release page there is one MacOS bundle with pythonqt included and one without it. The version with pythonqt works on MacOS 10.14 and later, unfortunately older systems have to use the one without it or use some older version of CsoundQt if you depend on PythonQt part. New in version 0.9.7:

Thanks! To be honest, for windows there are just minor changes - maybe only accessing templates and updated Stria synth are worth to think about, so feel free to stay with 0.9.6. For MacOs I think 0.9.7 definitely does make sense. tarmo Kontakt Pablo Frank (<frank_pablo@hotmail.com>) kirjutas kuupäeval N, 16. jaanuar 2020 kell 22:28:

Thank you, Tarmo. Its lately my first experience with CsoundQT. I think I like using it. So, how to "upgrade"? I am on Ubuntu 18.04. I'll assume, uninstall, perhaps purge; "sudo make uninstall .. " in its existing build directory, and then build/make from 0.9.7.tar.gz source in the traditional fashion as per the BUILDING.md instructions in the new package. Hi, Thanks! The best option is to build yourself (you get most reliable system), the easiest is to download the AppImage, change permissions to executable and just run it: NB! This is experimental build and not guaranteed to work, also does not include html nor pythonqt support. Build instructions: Please write to the CsoundQt users list, if you have any problems! If you build yourself, it would be safest to uninstall current version first (before installins again), but most likely different versions can co-exist, too. With AppImage, you should not worry - it is almost completely independent from the other system. tarmo Kontakt adam (<ahcnz@orcon.net.nz>) kirjutas kuupäeval K, 22. jaanuar 2020 kell 09:05:
