hello, list.

i'll be in NYC from tomorrow monday 10 until the end of december, except
for a few days in Boston from the 15th (friday) until tuesday the 19th.

i know it's holidays season, but if anyone is in the neighborhood with
time to spare and would like to meet for a beer or a cup of coffee, i'd be
very glad.

also if anyone is performing and/or presenting a piece in the area, please
let me know.

BTW, next wednesday the 13th at 5 pm i'll be giving a talk at columbia's
CMC about candombe drumming and my recent research in the field. everyone
is cordially invited.

That's cool about the candombe drumming! This of course is one of the
things that really struck me during my visit to Montevideo. It seemed
to be very much a living tradition. I saw it in the gay pride parade
and I also heard it in the distance on other days.

I'm sorry I'm up at our farm in the Catskills while you are here,
otherwise I would have loved to come to your talk, and to meet.
