I will try to make the audio driver in the Csound for Android app user configurable: OpenSL ES, AAudio, or automatically chosen by the Oboe driver. Hi, I think the new layout and builtin editor are just great. I tried the examples and one simple test csd but I get sound out only with: Examples "Trapped", "Partikkel", "Xanadu", "Modulated delay line" (blew off almost beacuse of feedback…) Others make no sound, no errors, in messages: "Csoubd is starting … OPCODEDirhas been set to ….. " as if csoundPerform or similar was never called. Tested on Samsung S6 phone, Android 7.0. Can it be that something from older installation mixed it up? Thanks! tarmo Kontakt Michael Gogins (<michael.gogins@gmail.com>) kirjutas kuupäeval R, 3. mai 2019 kell 16:51: I will try to make the audio driver in the Csound for Android app user |

If you uninstalled the older app, that would not be a problem. Check your preferences for the Csound app in the phone settings, and give both permissions. By default, only files in the SDCard/csd and /html directories are usable (thanks to a new Android security policy). ----------------------------------------------------- Michael Gogins Irreducible Productions http://michaelgogins.tumblr.com Michael dot Gogins at gmail dot com On Fri, May 3, 2019 at 10:08 AM Tarmo Johannes |
