Thanks for that!

I'm glad fluidsynth failed for you too, though, because when I tried my
test file on your new rev, it died just as before...! However, I realized that
I had forgotten to remove the -M option specifying a Haiku MIDI device!
I cleared that and it no longer crashes.

Unfortunately, all I get now is silence. The same file plays OK on my laptop.
Your example does play in Android, but not very well (:-() It's very glitchy.
I've tried adjusting ksmps, but it's either no better or worse. I even tried
halving the sr, which is sometimes useful on other machines with a heavy load,
but interestingly that also just ends up with silence!

I'm attaching the file I'm using. It's essentially fluidNote.csd from the
examples, but with the standard soundfont and a different program change.

BTW, could you include a description of the examples in the guide? I only
found the SF example by realizing it was new, Also the guide states that
a chosen example is copied to the 'Music' directory before loading.
This doesn't seem to be the case. Nothing gets added to that directory.

Thanks,
