Yes, as I refuse to go anywhere near Facebook (:-/), please at least
don't consider moving the discussion over there!  (Though of course
I don't mind duplication.) I think the ML is the best place for discussion.

I've only glanced at your draft so far, but it looks to be a good start.
I'll check your example -- see why it doesn't work.
