Huh.  I guess it's a "phone thing".  (Although my PDA is specifically not a phone
-- WiFi only.  But it does have a phone-sized screen., and it does rotate if I hold
it in portrait)

I'd think, though, that rotating the sliders would be a program feature, independent
of any orientation rotation.
