uh csound 5.06 is a bit tacky i have all the dependencies since i succesfully compiled the previous one (unless there are some new ones?) yet 5.06 doesnt compile however i'm at the beach right now and cant give any details

Then you just have to rename ./custom.py.mkg
to custom.py and then run

scons

Csound will then build in the current directory.
To install, run ./install.py, with admin permissions.

The Csound command will be installed in /usr/bin.
