I was getting an error back in March (old error at the bottom of this

I am on Gentoo with Python 2.4.2, and I have upgraded my wxpython to
2.6.3.2. I am still not able to use Cabel. I get this same error.:

Other people are using Cabel; I'm not clear where my mistake lies. Advice? Help?
