Hi, Does anyone here have Cecilia 2.0.5 running without errors like this on Linux? Also, does anyone know of the fix for, or have any thoughts about, the following error message? Is it a problem with Cecilia or Tcl/Tk? I'm baffled. I've tried installing a couple of different versions of Cecilia, reinstalled/updated Tcl/Tk, etc. After clicking on the toLoad button from the main Cecilia window, then getting the fileselect, "Choose a sound file" window, clicking on a file or path results in an "Application Error" window appearing, with the following error information: Error: list element in quotes followed by ":" instead of space list element in quotes followed by ":" instead of space list element in quotes followed by ":" instead of space while executing "lsearch $stuff "AIFF"" (procedure "getSoundFileInfo" line 4) invoked from within "getSoundFileInfo $fileselect(dir)/$path" (procedure "getInfo" line 7) invoked from within "getInfo" (procedure "fileselectClick" line 10) invoked from within "fileselectClick 319" (command bound to event) Note: this is when using version 2.0.5 for Linux, and occurs with TCL versions 8.3 and 8.4. I haven't done much of any Tcl scripting, but from what I can tell, there's a ':' someplace in the string for a list where it shouldn't be (is that correct?), but I've yet find it. Also, is there a version of Cecilia still in existence that will run on MacOS 8.6, without requiring MacOS X to install? -- R. D.
