If output is done through a global "always on" instrument which possibly
includes filters or reverb, it is also possible that one of the notes
triggered sends an Inf or NaN value, and the output instrument gets stuck
outputting Inf or NaN all the time.
However, it would be easier to find out if the orc/sco is posted.
