I use csound and Max on a PC. There is no
port of Matt's csound external for the pc.
Come to think of it, I could load CsoundVST
in Max with vst~ instead of creating an external. 
Is there any reason why one would want to 
port the pd csoundapi~ to Max when you can 
use CsoundVST?
