I remember trying to compile csound on Linux about two and a half or
three years ago and, after several trials, managing to do so only to be
confused by the syntax and irked by the many crashes. I think the ease
of compilation and stability, as well as the great documentation
available today, are testimony enough of how long a way this project has
come.
