After obtaining the Csound5 sources from CVS and building again, the following errors are displayed when running csound: WARNING: /usr/local/lib/Csound/libosc.so: undefined symbol: lo_server_thread_del_method WARNING: could not open library '/usr/local/lib/Csound/libosc.so' (-1) WARNING: '/usr/local/lib/Csound/lib_csnd.so' is not a Csound plugin library Upon invoking Csound VST, the following error appears, even though _CsoundVST.so was built and installed in /usr/local/lib: CsoundVST: error while loading shared libraries: _CsoundVST.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory However, it then occured to me that I'd redefined LD_LIBRARY_PATH for something else; fixing that resolved this problem, but not the other aforementioned csound5 problem. CsoundVST was built and runs, but there's still the libosc.so undefined symbol that's going to cause a problem with this as well (I'm guessing). Lastly, when attempting to run Cabel, it doesn't find a module named CsoundVST. Here's how I ran scons to build Csound5 if it makes any difference: scons buildCsoundVST=1 buildLoris=1 generatePdf=1 useOSC=1 \ buildPythonOpcodes=1 buildStkOpcodes=1 buildTclsound=1 useFLTK=1 install -- R.
