Because I read recently (It was probably in Dr. Dobbs, but maybe also in Embedded Systems Programming) an editorial suggesting exactly such a business opportunity, that someone should start a business selling personalized, one-off ringtones - I think that Micheal Swaine wrote it it could easily have been someone else, but I don't have the issue in front me. The gist was that the whole idea of selling ringtones was such an anomaly, because typically a short, crappy low-resolution ringtone costs more than downloading a full mp3 song. Larry
