Dear Friends,

James Hearon and I are very proud to announce the premiere issue of
The Csound Journal!  We've received some great article submissions and
have been working hard with the authors and together to get this issue
up and off the ground.  We hope you enjoy this premiere issue and are
looking forward to all of your thoughts and future contributions to
the Journal!

We are planning to continue and would like to put this out quarterly
(so December 15th or so would be our target date for the next issue). 
We also welcome any feedback and ideas as this Journal is both for and

and my own article contribution have held back the release until
