I was looking at the Csound 6.12 manual on csound.com.

I did a text search in that section and found just two uses
of "daemon" -- one in the '-d' flag section of "Performance
Configuration and Control", and as "--daemon" in the "-port=N"
section. Nowhere is a "--daemon" flag defined. 

I've just gone to the alphabetical listing, and there I see
two sequential definitions of "-d".  "--daemon" doesn't appear.
